I hired them for my custody case. This was years ago and I ended up leaving a good review because at first I was content with the work being done. I wished I wouldn't have and wished I would have came back to this sooner. I am not sure how the rest of the firm works but as far as Thomas Gross in Frederick, Maryland, in my opinion was just awful. He barely did any work for me. Worst experience ever, Cordell & Cordell are the worst lawyers ever. Went for divorce in from of Magistrate,lawyer forgot all the paperwork that I provided and I looked like a fool. During divorce Magistrate and Mediator both had said I was not represented properly. Had to hire better lawyer to clean up the mess that Cordell&Cordell has created. DO NOT USE Cordell & Cordell, there are much better ones out there. Billing is also terrible and very expensive

I recently went through a divorce and changed from a previous lawyer to Ms Deborah Sheppard of Cordell & Cordell (Frederick MD). I was extremely satisfied with Ms Shepherd. She was professional, she was personable, she was prompt with her updates, and she worked very well with the opposing counsel. We worked very well together and after closing my account I will actually miss dealing with Ms Shepherd. Kristen Lindquist was the paralegal with whom I dealt. She was also excellent, prompt, and personable.
