Dr. Dean was my primary care provider for about 6 years. As the other reviews note, the only downside to Dr. Dean is that he is often late because he is talking with patients. Tardiness notwithstanding he is a wonderful doctor, and I would say he is the best primary care physician I've ever had. He does not dismiss or minimize concerns from patients, and will explore concerns thoughtfully. He is very transparent in explaining what he is doing and thinking. Dr. Dean is a fantastic listener, which makes him a great doctor. Unfortunately, because of that, he is always behind with his appointments. If your appointment is later in the day, be prepared to wait up to an hour passed your scheduled appointment time to see him. During the busy times, you will wait 3-4 weeks to schedule an appointment with him.
I liked Dr. Dean. He was very personable and kind. He took plenty of time to listen to my concerns and I didn't feel rushed. I have recommended him to friends and likely will again. He will listen and not discredit what you think or how you want to approach your own care. I wish I could have read the other reviews that did not give him 5 stars, but this site would not let me. I don't know why everyone wouldn't give him 5 stars.
Dr. Dean is an incredibly compassionate and thorough physician. He takes the time to listen and problem solve on issues and he and his staff are expedient on getting referrals and follow up appointments set. Unlike many doctor's offices ushering patients in and out without much time spent with each one, Dr. Dean truly puts his patients first. We would highly recommend Dr. Dean to anyone wanting a wonderful family or sports med physician.
Dr. Dean is unlike other physicians I have had. He was not the most punctual but for reasons I can readily forgive him for as he spends as much time as needed talking to you. The conversation isn't what's wrong with you/lets do this followed by a prompt retreat through the door. I am willing to go out of my way to see him as he listens to me and acknowledges any personal concerns I may have when discussing treatment.
Cory’s always been what I would consider to be a good doctor. His front office on the other hand is absolutely ridiculous. The ENTIRE front office staff are nothing but lazy, rude, and disrespectful individuals. I’ll be finding a new primary doctor strictly because of his front office. Sad sad people.
