After going through a gruesome application process for hire, I was convinced this would be the job for me however, on my very first day I knew this wasn't it. Working at the chesapeake warehouse location was the worst working experience I ever had in my 25+ years experiance as a driver. Managers Chris and Mario were equally poor in their leadership roles. I am a new guy from Canada who happen to be at CORT Furniture Store located at Rockville, MD, USA by accident. There inside, I met Lisa and her supervisor who have been absolutely professional, charming, friendly, and super helpful. Besides and very stunningly, the store has truly great items for unbelievably low price. Hence, please check it out yourself and this is my objective judgment.
I rented from Cort for a year. Delivery and pick up were great, but they refused to respond to emails and inquiries as to why I was charged a security deposit when the agreement said it didn't include one. They delivered the wrong chair and then charged me twice for a delivery fee even though it was their mistake on delivering the wrong chair. Furniture was quite mangy - the lampshades were filthy. Do not deal with this company at all. Buyer beware. Customer service? That will cost you extra. Consider yourself warned.
Could be a great company if they had people with integrity working for them. Atlanta warehouse great management team except for Tripp! I never knew you could fight on your job (physically) with a girlfriend I suppose, embezzle and still maintain your position. Very disturbing situation. Their operation would definitely improve without her. She walks around expressing how much she doesn’t gaf about her job…Very disturbing!!!
