Needed to refill my 20# cylinders for my travel trailer, and this location (Dexter, NM) was nearby. Great service, although I had to drop off the tanks & return later, because the tech on duty was out to lunch. They can also recertify tanks, which I found out firsthand. Would use their services again if I'm back out this way, without question.

We noticed we had a gas leak on our propane tank that had just been filled the end of June. We called Cortez Gas first thing this morning and they were here within about 15 minutes. Frank and Albert were courteous, professional and found the source of the problem quickly. They worked hard to make sure it was repaired properly! Very pleased with their customer service!

This is absolutely the worst company. 6 months ago we had a leak on our propane tank. After calling numerous times asking to replace tank. To this day we have switched companies and still have Cortez gas tanks got a call from Roy who was suppose to come remove the tanks today. After calling back after several hours, he informed me that it was too hot outside. And he would try to be here tomorrow

Do not take their word for anything, Make sure to get a receipt for every transaction. They're very much as crooked as they come; be sure to take pictures of your tank before and after service as well. If you do not, they will not give you what you paid for; And you will be called a liar, and you will be treated like you are so far below them, you don't deserve to breathe the same air as them. I have a refund coming for $150.00. It's been four months. I still have not received a check. The office worker keeps giving me the run around. Bad form!
