I had a very frustrating experience at Cortland Dental and will not be returning. My kids had a cleaning appointment scheduled for 3:15 PM, and we arrived early at 3:00 PM. Despite this, we ended up waiting over 40 minutes past our appointment time. When I first asked the front desk, I was told my kids were “next,” but that clearly wasn’t true—at least three other patients were taken in before us. In my entire life, I have never encountered a clinic as irresponsible as this one. They charged me for procedures they never even performed; they continued to bill me, and then they reported the debt to my credit bureau—even though I had left the clinic long before. They had told me that I no longer needed to make payments, but that was a lie; they kept billing me even after I had already been transferred to another clinic. I had a terrible time at my daughter’s appointment waiting almost 2 hours to be seen for a cleaning. Schedule for 10am was taken in the room at 1145am . There reasoning was being short staffed. Unacceptable in every way. Unprofessional.
I had a very negative experience at this clinic. The receptionists were rude, arrogant, and unprofessional in the way they communicated. They spoke in a dry and disrespectful manner, which created an uncomfortable. First impressions matter, especially in a place where we expect empathy and care. Unfortunately, this was the complete opposite.
