The staff are friendly and knowledgeable - never have a long wait. Dr. Rubin stands out because of his breadth and depth of knowledge. You can ask him anything. Also, you can tell his loves what he does!
This doctor is knowledgeable however he consistently runs behind schedule. There is a dog wandering in the office. If the dad jokes were cut out perhaps the schedule would be followed more closely.

Just took my daughter to Dr Rubin, hardly had to wait at all. He took his time with my daughter, asked if she had any questions. Been going elsewhere in the past and always feel rushed and just a number . Will definitely be going back to Dr. Rubin
I see Dr. Rubin on a regular basis after being diagnosed with melanoma from a different dermatologist office and not feeling comfortable with their care. Dr. Rubin does a very thorough examination, unlike my other doctor, and he is a very kind and intelligent person. If you just need regular dermatological care or you have had a serous skin cancer, I would highly recommend him as your doctor. I don't believe you could find better. He is excellent.
He is a very thoughtful and considerate Dr. When you leave you feel that he really cared about you and your medical and personal concerns. I have been a patient of Dr. Shumer for a very long time, over 30 years and I am very glad that he has brought Dr. Rubin into his practice.
I accompanied my husband to his appointment because he is hearing impaired and has ADHD which make it hard for him to understand directions. Dr. Rubin was disrespectful to both of us immediately on entering the room. He then proceeded to laugh at and shame my husband for his difficulty complying with past treatment. I do not recommend this physician.
This doctor prescribed medication for my finger with a severe open wound which took off the top two layers of skin. When I got the medication it said 'DO NOT PUT ON ANY OPEN WOUNDS!!!' I will not be going back to this doctor who would have caused much harm to me.
