Very generous with their too good to go bags. Was allowed to pick 5 items from the 50% off warm products. They kindly heated it all up for me.
I picked a birthday treat, and I noticed staff gave me the cake not from the counter but from a box behind the counter. I dont mind as long as it is kept in safe conditions. But i opened the cake and it has a very strong smell like it has been at least a week old. I took a bite and now it really gave me a bad stomach. Will never go to any Costa branches. All the counter food looks dry and old but this was an extreme case.
I always use this Costa coffee shop when I meet up with family for coffee and a chat, it's quiet location is an appeal for a meeting point in central London.
Several items on the normal menu were not available. Management needs to try harder. Staff did the best they could under the circumstances
Good sized Costa but it was quite dark inside - needs some better lighting. Typical experience otherwise. Plenty of seating with some outside tables too.
