Came into the shop yesterday (Thurs 24th July at 6.25) and ordered 2 drinks in takeaway cups. The staff who served us on the counter were lovely but as soon as we sat down a man came over and glared at us with a really aggressive look and told us they shut at 7. Got overcharged by £22.30 for a brownie when a staff member forgot to void the previous order. I understand that mistakes happen, but I was offered no goodwill gesture for the significant inconvenience and was simply told, “Sorry, you’ll get it back in a few hours.” It’s now been several days, and I still haven’t received the refund. For such a large overcharge, I expected better accountability and customer care. Unfortunately, this experience has left a bad impression, and I won’t be returning.
I have been here on Tuesday as my favourites bartender are working here temporarily. Will and Morgan was in shift, so I know I was in great hands, Will made my greatest cappuccino as he knows my preferences. Always the best! A special thanks to Becks, Morgan,Lucy and Will. Came here twice in the afternoon, both times had a really long queue and the staff (one man in particular) were quite rude. Although they don't shut until 7 (and we asked to double check) they started mopping around our feet and putting all the chairs on the tables around us at about half 5pm. It felt unwelcoming and a bit unkind to be honest.
With 3 screens at the wall and changing offers/slides it is very annoying to choose what I like. The coffee shop itself could have a bit more love. The tables and seats were not clean as I would expect.
