I recently visited Costa Coffee and had a genuinely pleasant experience. The desserts I tried were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Each bite tasted like it had been carefully made, and I appreciated the balance of sweetness. Me and my partner came here today. We both wanted a drink and something to eat. The service was ok at the till. But when I try to find a table to sit at every table was very dirty and not clean to sit at to enjoy our drink and our food. Also there were dirty cups and trays on tables too there were no staff on the shop floor to ask if we could have our table clean and the dirty cups and trays to be removed. This is very bad and not hygienic. This has put us off coming here again.
Found this Costa quite dark and dingy ... not sure if perhaps some of the lights were broken, but it was very dark. The person who served me at the till didn't seem to be very happy he was at work and came across as a little rude, but the woman who made my drink was friendly and nice. I personally wouldn't use this Costa again I would stick to the one I usually use in Broadmead, rather than this one inside Cabot Circus. Drink was nice, plenty of seating and toilets were clean.
The self service machines are useless. One was not working at all and the other one we were using kept getting stuck. If you introduce these things, make sure they work!
Oh dear, oh dear. What went wrong? This is supposed to he the nicest Costa out of the three in town. The Chai Latte I was served was hardly warm and the orange and raspberry cake I ordered was dry, aired out, very much likely been there for one day way too many. Absolutely shocking. On the upside, the atmosphere and design of this costa is beautiful and delightful, all Costa's should change their drab maroon colours in favour for this bright orange, walnut and light brown decore.
