Good location decent atmosphere and staff are friendly enough. I was super excited to try the maple hazelnut latte, my friend who works at another Costa said it was amazing but when I got it, it just tasted like any other latte, it cost like £4.55 I think so I was a bit disappointed. Turns out all the syrup was at the bottom lol they forgot to mix it. My Costa friend said they are supposed to do that so just a quick warning don't be like me mix your drink lol even if it does have whipped cream on it.
It is the week before Christmas but it's not busy to the point that I was the only person in the queue and there were three staff behind the till. The downstairs toilets are out of order, the working toilet was filthy and out of soap. I informed a staff member who then continued their conversation. Came in at a hectic period in the evening on a weekend, however the staff kept their cool and still remained very friendly and accommodating. Given the amount of customers coming in, cleaning and clearing up used cups and plates was left on the back burner, which wasn’t great for cleanliness.
There’s no choice for 0 star otherwise I do that. I haven’t been visit such dirty place in UK like that. Even we need cleanliness now a days more then ever. Btw been there early morning but floor was dirty full of dust & stains n spilled milk coz they didn’t clean it last night or in morning before open. Came in today (16th December) and ordered two drinks. One was a bottle of apple juice and the other was peppermint tea. The apple juice was out of date and so were about 10 other bottles. The rest of them were close to being out of date. The toilets weren't working so everyone was using the disabled toilet - unfortunately my mum couldn't use it as it was filthy and we had to tell the staff to clean it.
