I love all Costa’s, but the Drake Circus Shopping Centre is very especial and favourite to me, the staff are very friendly and they give you a positive energy. Why can’t any of the tree Costa coffee shops in the city centre make an Americano? Special shout out to the staff member in the little one opposite Starbucks. Who looked at me like I’d killed her cat when I asked for the espresso to be put on top the water rather the other way around. Had to put that coffee straight in the bin as they refused to remake it. Hot water on top of the espresso ruins it so it’s bitter…..
Opening times are wrong. They open at 07.30! I get my morning coffee here before going to work, and I get the 7.54 bus! Closing times are also wrong. They close at 18.00 Their idea of the "get a coloured stick, pay 50p, and get a hot drink" it's amazing!!
You have to wait for over 10 minutes before you can order. Than, you have to wait for another 10 minutes to receive a cappuccino which was the worst I’ve ever drunk. Let alone, I didn’t finish it. I really tried but it really tasted like an ashtray. Sorry, but they won’t see me again here.
Just arrived in the morning and got a hot chocolate, staff were so friendly and even left a little more on the cup " you're a star :) " what a lush start to the day, thanks girls x
