Feel really sorry for the staff , they are so polite and helpful . Yet the times they have to apologise due to the ice machine being broken is embarrassing. With warm weather here , customers are expecting Costa to be able to supply them with a cold drink As a regular customer I know how long Costa have had to sort the ICE MACHINE . Having a Costa coffee in the Marlands Southampton and I must say the cleanliness has really gone down hill . Sat outside where table and chairs are the floor is very dirty looks as if not cleaned for weeks. Feel like a lot of Costa Coffee sites now have this problem the amount you are paying for a coffee you expect it to be a clean seating area , I used to be a fan of Costa Coffee not so much now.

We ordered a cappuccino and a latte. The server asked if we wanted medium or large. We asked about a small size and he said oh yes, we also have a small size. Was this an attempt to bamboozle us into buying (and thus paying more) a larger size than we wanted?

I simply love this place. I feel so relaxed each time I'm going either alone, or with a friend. Very nice vibe.

Great staff always happy and smiling , been here a few times manager is brilliant never too much trouble catering for a customer like me that has allergy problems. Be back again next time in Southampton.
