My husband has been at Country House for over a year----I can't say enough good things about this place. The staff is very caring, the food is wonderful ( healthy meals and snacks), lots of fun things to keep everyone active and musical performances. Family is cared for as well as the resident.
Meals here at Country House are geared toward residents meaning the meats always come in small pieces and the seasoning is appropriate, not too spicy. The meals are always balanced with proteins, vegetables, and potatoes or rice. Best thing is the deserts! The residents really look forward to the tasty deserts. Dee W.
My mother moved into CountryHouse because of a rapid and really distressing dementia. I am so grateful at how helpful and kind everyone was. She had a beautiful room in a genuinely home like environment. I felt comfortable coming in to see her at all hours. It was a huge improvement over regular assisted living which was not addressing her dementia struggles.
The experience here was wonderful! In looking for a place for my grandma the staff knew it was a tough decision to make and really took the time to get to know us and my grandma. Tiffany asked about my grandma and who she is versus just talking about cost of their care and the activities/services they provide. My mother was in CountryHouse for nearly 18 months. In that time we got to know all the staff and what a pleasure it was to do so. As with all families it's an excrutiating process and decision trying to find a nice place to house our loved one that needs constant caring and help. I had been in a great number of care facilities over the years in my previous carreer as a paramedic and was not looking forward to placing my mother in any such facility.
