I cannot recommend Courtesy Driving School enough, especially Mr. Blum. From the very first lesson, he made driving feel much less stressful and helped build my confidence behind the wheel. He is one of the nicest, most patient, and most understanding instructors I have ever met. The in class experience was great with Mr. Blum! He goes over things with detail and makes sure you understand, he also is great on the road, he is kind, approachable and funny. Mr. Leka was good as well, he made the drive comfortable. Mr. Mazure gave inaccurate scores (good scores to drivers who didn’t do well/needed more help), he didn’t give details on the road when driving, you he no real experience with him because all he does is stay in the neighborhood or on the main road doing no u- turns, Michigan lefts, roundabouts... read more
The class was great. Mr. Blum was an amazing classroom instructor. He would draw pictures, explain situations, and provide examples when we were going through the questions instead of simply reading off the answer. Mr. Blum was also an amazing driving instructor. He would provide tips and point things out on the road throughout the entire drive. Mr. Mazure was also a great driving instructor. He also pointed things out throughout the drive. I did not drive with Mr. Hilbert. Overall, great experience, and I learned a lot.
Mr Blum (classroom teacher) was awesome! Always making sure to answer students questions, always in a good mood and really a fun teacher. I came in the class worrying about the difficulty of driving, but after a couple days Mr Blum had me ready for whatever life could throw at me. Behind the wheel, Mr Blum and Mr mazure always kept the car environment calm and and professional. Courtesy is a great place to learn to drive and improve on your knowledge.
Mr. Blum was a very good instructor in class, other than repeating some stories or answers to questions he was pretty well. I had Ms. Rivers for most of my drives, she was very nice and never yelled, always gave criticism back with praise. I also had Mr. Leka for drives, didn't like how he would occasionally grap the wheel even just like holding onto it barely, but overall personality wise he was chill
