I should first note that I lived in the old building and not the newer one across the street. I lived here for around 18 months. It was a very poor experience. Terrible over priced for what is offered, for example there is "in-unit washer/dryer" however its a 1 unit washer-dryer combo that takes 5 hours and leaves your clothes wrinkled. The parking lots is in shambles and during the winter months it often doesn't get clearing in a timely manner and I've seen many people get stuck in the lot, so be careful where you park. DO NOT LIVE HERE IF YOU HAVE PETS. My close friend lives here and recently was asked to remove his young 2 year old dog after less then 1 month of living here. Management claimed that there were absurd amounts of complaints due to barking from my friend’s dog. A) Do not live in a pet friendly apartment if barking bothers you. B) Do not let people have pets if you are just going to make them remove them. the building is beautiful, the units are so nice, the location is wonderful, but the management is horrendous. it’s so sad to have such an amazing building be ruined by something that is so fixable. i have had countless small problems that would be so easy to take care of if they would just answer emails and texts. there will be weeks upon weeks where you do not hear back from them, and i have chatted with other tenants and they are experiencing the same issues. i am an understanding person, if it happens one or two times…no... read more

The Cove Apartments/Roers Companies withdraw money out of your account before you sign a Lease, if you choose to not sign a Lease, they will keep your money. All of this despite the fact that they do a whole bait and switch by telling you they will keep the administrative fee, they do not say they will keep the security deposit, that is until they've already stolen it. Write the Better Business Bureau, they want to hear from consumers about this business.

I got scammed by Cove I’m not usually one to write reviews, but I hope it can be helpful to someone. I applied to an apartment here and it said the security deposit would be taken out of my bank account automatically if I got approved for the apartment. I thought it was shady to demand a security deposit to be paid on an application, but I went through with it anyways.
