DO NOT BUT THIS PRODUCT!!!! In 2020 we had a pool put in our backyard and decided to go with Cover Pools, Inc for a pool cover since we would not have a screen and wanted to keep things out of the pool. According to the website, it looked like good quality. But from the beginning, there has always been a 1-inch gap when it closes so all kinds of things get into the pool. Well after a couple years I feel like it’s time to give a review on the quality of service on this company. I had my cover installed 2 years ago. When the technicians installed it they tried to cut corners and use the old bearings because they had replaced them a couple years earlier. I had to argue with him that regardless of their shape I paid for a full new cover to include all the hardware and that is 2 years of use I can get out of the new ones. Inexperienced crews. Poor quality of work. No follow through. Cover Pools was a subcontractor that was used on our remodel project with Dolphin Pool. You’re new company is horrible. They jacked up prices 200-300%. They even want to charge you $200 to even LOOK at your existing cover. I have been a customer of Cover-Pools for nearly 20 years and I have purchased three covers and nearly annual maintenance for the entire 20 years. But I don’t believe I will want to do business with Fluidra North America, if this is how they treat their customers.
Im not one to give bad reviews but this is the worse company I have ever tried to do business with. Had them come out and give me a bid on 1-23-23 to be early before the rush. The technician called his office gave them my Credit Card Number for the 50% down payment. Schedule for March install nothing, April nothing, finally May 16th I was able to talk to someone after more than 20 calls (lost track) starting back in March. Then I'm told they never ran my card so nothing was built. Buyers be ware!
