After more than a year of frustration trying to find a neurologist who specializes in Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias in the Upstate South Carolina area, I finally decided to travel out of state to Athens, Georgia so my mother could receive the specialized care she needed. Dr. Schreckinger is an excellent physician for my elderly father with dementia. She has endless patience, a gentle sense of humor, and is very thorough. I appreciate that she has given us options regarding medications and their administrations (patches verses pills, etc). Her appointments are never rushed; while she spends a good deal of time with us we have never waited long in the office. I do believe she gives my father good care, and we like her a lot.
Very friendly staff, and hardly any wait time. Dr. Schreckinger really took her time and listened to me. I did not feel rushed, and I felt like she heard what I had to say. She had lots of information regarding my particular issues. I feel as though she was very thorough. Very pleased and would recommend this practice!
Really liked Dr Schreckinger-Rodas. She was so, so patient and very compassionate. There was construction going on outside of the office and we moved from room to room in order to avoid the outside construction noise and so that she could listen to me intently. I’m sure she sees lots of “migraine” patients but me made me feels like I was special and didn’t make me feel like just another patient with a minor problem. Looking forward to seeing my treatment all the way through.
We love this office! Everyone, from Front Office to Doctor, made us feel as though they "care." We had one appointment, so far, and will recommend to anyone. Thank you for making this appointment a great one!
