Worst place ever. Came here for the tune up and when I picked my truck up it was missing my ELD device upon asking them they said it was never there I was fine with that but when I opened up the hood to check, the bolts of the air filter were loose and were easily tighten with hand. Such carelessness. If I wouldn’t had the checked it could’ve been a problem. Make sure to check everything before leaving
Since the mid 70s I was a Cummins fan. Owned several and rebuilt them to. Great engineering and stood behind the product. That all changed a few months ago. I bought a generator from Cummins for my daughter who lived alone. I paid extra for the ten year warranty for or her. After the warranty was half over the generator wouldn’t start. I called for service under the warranty. They wouldn’t honor the warranty unless I allowed them to put a hold on my credit card for the amount of the service call totaling $3000.00, 50% of the... read more
They didn't want to sell me a starter, and I even took the starter off the motor, and was told they could not match it up. Wasted an hour of my time, because they were not sure if I was telling the truth, like I would lie about the motor not being a Cummins. Wenf to autozone,, matched up starter in minutes, and was out the door and happy because
Took in a generator only had for two months.They stated It's our fault didn't change oil. Can't be fixed and not Repairable. I changed the oil twice and had it into a shop three time's..So please be aware. "Don't buy a Cummins product".
We were on the road in our motorhome when the check engine light came on and I got a low DEF warning despite a full tank of DEF. We were about 45 min away and I called Cummins who told us that we could come by right away. Long story short, Cummins replaced the DEF Header and got us back on the road within 6 hours. We are extremely thankful to the team at Cummins in West Sacramento!! The Customer Service here was top notch!!
