We pulled into the service center last week on our way home to FL in our Rv. Our generator quit and we desperately needed it to run for the AC. They promptly got us in and determined we had a clogged air filter and the fuel filter was not great either. We just had it serviced 2 months prior. So we had them changed and it ran like a charm. So grateful for their help and professionalism. Very happy customers!!
Our brand new RV came with a broken generator (which our dealer couldn’t fix). Rafael at Cummins Sales and Service got us in in a timely fashion on Monday afternoon. They were able to diagnose and fix the issue and were done by early Thursday afternoon. The technician, Daniel, took some time with us to explain what was wrong and how the generator works in general. It was greatly appreciated. Thank you Rafael and Daniel!
Made appointment for service on Monday. Dropped vehichle off on Sunday night. Repair generator and state inspections which were services listed on the night drop form. It’s Friday. I just found out that they dint do state inspections and the part fir the generator is in but there is no promise of when it might be repaired.
We currently have a service contract with Cummins but will not be renewing it for several reasons. First, despite having a contract, we were charged standard rates—including travel time—for service visits, offering no real cost benefit over calling as a non-contract customer. Second, communication has been extremely frustrating. Calls to their main number often go unanswered, and emails frequently receive no reply. Our Class A diesel pusher RV broke down, stranding us on the MD-495. Got towed to Cummins and they jumped right on it. Traveling around the country as we do, we experience many levels of professionalism. Let me tell you this shop is top of class! No bull, just straightforward, hard-working and knowledgeable folks that know their engines! Delighted to be back on the road, but it was a pleasure meeting this team!
