Our Class A diesel pusher RV broke down, stranding us on the MD-495. Got towed to Cummins and they jumped right on it. Traveling around the country as we do, we experience many levels of professionalism. Let me tell you this shop is top of class! No bull, just straightforward, hard-working and knowledgeable folks that know their engines! Delighted to be back on the road, but it was a pleasure meeting this team!
I would like to highly recommend this Cummins generator service shop. The service mechanics are very professional and the General Manager, Rafael went above and beyond to make sure our generator was repaired correctly. I can't say enough about their integrity and work ethic.
Very hard to communicate with this location. Phone will just ring and ring during normal business hours, then you will be shipped to voice mail and no one ever calls you back. Hard to get pricing and availability on parts. Just an overall frustrating experience, so we stopped working with this Cummins location.
Made my appointment on a Thursday morning for Monday. I called Monday evening someone lied and told me they just pulled it in the shop. Tuesday morning I get a email to approve a $1300 diagnose. I approved to get the ball rolling! That afternoon I called to check on the truck and ask why the fee is so expensive? I was told only the supervisor can answer that. I had to have all six injectors replaced on my Cummins 500 hp diesel in my RV as it was blowing heavy smoke as we drove around Washington, DC. The engine had about 65,000 miles on it. I am assuming that we got some bad fuel somewhere. The dealer in Manassas, VA was the worst. They would not talk to me on the phone as they were doing the work, which took several weeks.
