In class C RV, Generator acted up, Tom at Cummins in Duluth MN got me in and checked out my issue, it was bad news but he explained it very well, best to replace than put an expensive bandaid on it on it being over 10 years other problems could occur. Set me up to have another dealer order unit so it would be there by the time I was in that area. Saved me money and time.
When calling any Cummins location you are now directed to a call center out of country (East Indian) they "try" to help and get nowhere. Then they'll send you to the location in which you are trying to contact and they'll answer 1 out of 20 attempts. The parts were "Supposed" to arrive next day to my house at 11am. It's 1:49pm. Now I'm "attempting" to contact the Duluth MN location without any luck. Absolute garbage customer service. Stopped into duluth Cummins today with a check engine light on. They were booked , but took the time to do a quick check. They were great about running the codes ,water in the fuel. So they supplied me some additive and sent me on the way. Great guys there I’ll be booking my next service in the spring.
These guys (and gal) are the best! Went way above and beyond to get us in and diagnose a “check engine “ situation. Had to next day a sensor that I had replaced about 300 miles earlier that was evidently a cheap Chinese knock off. When it came in they sent a tech , Cole to us at the park. “On a Labor Day weekend!!!! Tom, Ryan, Gary, and especially Cole, hats off to you! And Cole served his country before this career. Couldn’t be happier! Class outfit.
