This is the first time I use Google to comment on customer service however I felt kudos where required! Had a recall on my american built RV's Onan generator and found out that Cummins Ottawa would service the recall here in Ottawa. I was accompanied through the process by Ryan who worked with me so diligently! Terrible service. Took my 09 T800 in for issues with the emissions system. Was told I needed a new turbo and if that didn’t do then the trick a DOC.. both high dollars items.. they couldn’t give me their reasons to validate either part replacement. So as per their diagnosis and advice I’ve replace both components as well as completely rebuilt my engine and still had the same issues with the systems minus the blowby. I went there for a part for an Onan generator. They had the part however, I was quite surprised by the price. For two different items, this location was charging 45% more than what you can find online not on Amazon or eBay but on the Cummins Canadian website... When I pointed that out, I was told rudely to order online... Yay back to 2000 where store price and website price were different... But honestly a 45% premium off the company's website is a steal... Brought my baby (03 5.9 cummins) over to the shop as it was having issues.... dropped her off after hours. Called next morning and spoke with service about it. They were very friendly and helpful, they couldnt look at it until the monday morning but the shop foreman Wayne called me to let me know it wasnt an engine or cummins problem. He explained to me what needed to be done and arranged to have it towed to dealership and ensured to coordinate with the right guy to diagnose and fix the problem.
