We had been thinking about this project for years but always found a reason to keep putting it off. Eventually we had a cold call from a very informative gentleman who knocked on our door from DaBella. After scheduling an appointment for an estimate, John came by the very next day. He did what seemed to be a very thorough inspection (even crawled in our attic to look at the underside!) The work was great, quite fast and very professsional. The windows have proven to be quite a weather proof, etc... during this winter. I have no problem recommending this company to anyone.
Slam Bam Thank You Ma'am!! These guys got on it! Delivered the drop box on a Wednesday evening, the crew arrived early Thursday morning (complete with a porta-potty on the trailer), had the old roofing torn off in a couple of hours, installed new sheathing where needed and had the protective water barrier installed by late afternoon along with some of the roofing. The guys were back before daylight on Friday and had the roofing completed by noon and yard cleaned up and out of there by 2:30 pm. They were great...really nice g... read more
They were very great. The sales rep Mike Krommis great person to talk to. He even came back to see how we liked everything. He took some before an after pictures of our roof. The whole company is very reasonable with their prices. and the whole staff are good people. We will use for future (Windows). We will recommend them to our friends and even families. RJ was great. Professional, friendly, full of facts and information. I didn't know the first thing about siding, but he came in with samples and was great at explaining things in detail about design, materials, and my favorite part . . . energy efficiency and R-factors. <br /> DaBella seems like a great company with a sincere and solid interest in manufacturing and selling high quality products and in making sure the customer is happy. The Allside Installers who came to The Dalles are super stars. Nathan and Matt replaced thirteen windows in our home during the worst weather we have had all winter. Temperature never went above 20 and snowed 6 inches. The guys did a fabulous job, no complaining, were extremely respectful of our home and loved my dogs. Love the windows. Thanks guys.
We were visited by cold call to have windows replaced. This is something we have been considering and shopping for about 3 years. We decided to set up a sales appointment. The representative that visited us, Jeff, was very knowledgeable about the product, was able to answer our questions. I did not feel that it was a hard sale. We have not yet had the windows installed and you will hear back from me at that time. <br />
Our biggest problem was that they do not use their own work crews, everything is subcontracted out. Crews did not always show up on time and certainly did not necessarily clean up after themselves at the end of the day. In fact, we are still finding nails that should have been picked up.
My estimate went very well. The gentalman showed up on time , and looked professional. The whole estimate took about an hour and a half. I have gotten two other roofing estimates and they were not on time and did not get on my roof or in to my attic, The Dabella estimator looked in my attic space and looked on the top of my roof. He was the only person who actually gave me my estimate while he was at my house, the other two companys mailed there bids.
