I did speak to the doctor today, however I felt worse then when I originally came in . I felt my concerns was not heard. I originally had another psychiatrist, but unfortunately she no longer works there, so I was assigned to a nurse practitioner. It wasn’t a great experience in my opinion due to the fact that it resulted in just medications being prescribed and pushed on me to test. Perhaps Dartiss Chevalier is a good provider, but when I went to have a discussion about switching to stimulants for ADHD, she was dismissive and unhelpful, not even taking the time to ask any questions about my issues and why I want to make the shift. News alert: not all of us are looking to abuse stimulants. Some of us just want to be able to focus long enough to finish a task at work.
