David was very optimistic he could get a very large loan approved for me. It took some time and documentation - but he came thru !! The loan closed very close to the deadline - but it all worked.

I had a prior mortgage with the same lender. When I learned that interest rates had gone done I looked into doing a refi with the same lender U.S. Bank. I was introduced to David who would be my loan officer. Provided all the documents needed, and though it took some time and other things were requested, I finally closed on the refi in February 2021. Was happy with the results.

Mr. Ratke made mortgaga refinancing, which is generally a pretty stressful process, smooth and relatively eazy for us. He walked us throgh the procedure step by step always explainig what was going on and what would follow. I asked for a couple of various options and he provided us with accurate and precise data. He was also responsive to pjr request to switch from one option to another one which helped us to save a couple of thusands on long run. Dave and his team did an excellent job and got me out of a bad situation with another broker at the last minute. They were able to complete my loan in a little over 2 weeks. The other broker was not upfront about his fees, increased them (both the APR and Points) when he gave me the "final disclosure", increased my down payment amount by $67,000 because he said my debt to equity ratio was too high and didn't realize the Jumbo loan threshold was increased. We had trouble getting a jumbo loan from another company (rhymes with "sicken") and we came to David having gone through a lot of heartache. We were not an easy case because of a rental properties we own. This is what got us in trouble with underwriting with our previous lender. What can I not say about Dave?! He's responsive to my clients, provides timely pre-approvals (even when I need one within the hour) and always up to date on the latest home financing incentives and programs.
