Went there early on a Saturday, like 11am. Didn't call ahead because I knew I would most likely be the only one in there and I wasn't pressed for time. I ordered (I believe it was) the #3 combo, which was the tender and the slider. You definitely get bang for your buck. I would therefore disagree with any reviewer who knocks the portions, though I wouldn't order just one tender. I did manage to eat both in one sitting but I'm a growing boy. Food was utterly delicious. The spicy chicken was just amazing. Service is really slow as I believe they need more staff in the kitchen to serve so many customers. The orientation and aesthetic appearance is just poor.

First time coming in yesterday 8/22/23 around 5:53pm to try my friend told me about it. I got a number 2 S-LITE MILD Add Cheese chicken sliders comes with fries and pickles and sauce. I got one with cheese and one without cheese. The byn was soft lasted fresh and the chicken was juicy and moist inside and the outside was crispy and had a kite kick to it, it comes with slaw and pickles inside the slider the taste was really good! Dave's Hot gets a 10/10 for how incredibly delicious it is, and how hardworking and kind the staff is. Their only room for improvement is their disorganization and takeout/pickup processes. I ordered at 10:05PM, it said 15 minutes [10:20PM], I didn't leave with my food until 10:45PM. It was a late night order and I totally recognize that, but there was a lot of confusion and opening bags to see what was what and overall just a chaotic pickup process. So excited that Dave’s Hot Chicken has come to South Bay! The service was awesome, everyone is so kind and they get your food out fast and accurate. It is definitely busy - but that is to be expected. The service is still quick and great but may be hard to find seating at busy times! Also there is more outside seating and I did go on a day which is raining so that helps too!
