TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Food was great! Still hot and tasty! Service was on point. Refreshing to see smiling faces!
I'm not a big fan of chicken breast meat. I'm a strictly leg and thigh person. Dark meat all the way, grilled, fried, broiled whichever way you cook it. But Dave's Hot Chicken only serves breast meat tenders. So why the high rating? Coz their breast meat tenders don't taste like how breast meat should taste. It's not dry and rubbery. Daves hot chicken is nearly always fantastic! However, last night I ordered two 'extra-hot' sliders and instead I got two sliders with ZERO heat. What the f Daves? I gotta say, the sandwiches without any heat are really not as good. Disappointed here (and I'm so rarely disappointed by Daves)

Such an inviting atmosphere, it was my first time trying it and the food SO SO GOOD. I will definitely be back because the service was great.

Need i say more. Absolutely obliterated this plate. Jasmine gave excellent service! The food is hot and flavorful. Nice place. I love it. Delicious. I'm gonna come here again. Probably tomorrow and the next day. The flavor. Exquisite.
Went to Dave's Hot Chicken this Friday evening, decided to get a number 2, with a side of Mac & Cheese! I also got Cherry Coke which was amazing because I love this drink The pretty young lady at the register was very kind, and helped me out during rush hour, was very friendly and wasn't shy giving me extra sauce!! Happy to say I will come back here soon :)
Amazing food always, super friendly staff. Highly recommend a tender + slider combo to try all the things. Literally got it twice this week.
Best hot chicken sandwiches in all of LA. Ash at the front who took my order was super kind and helped a lot! Been coming here years. Definitely recommend during weekends when it's sunny out ordering through app because lines can add some time. Either way though, 100% worth the wait. Take all my friends here who are visiting from out of town.
