TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Grabbed lunch on 4/11/24. Dave's is always good, but I wanted to point the excellent customer service and friendliness of Janet (I think that's correct name). She went above and beyond. Thank you!

I absolutely love this place. Best chicken sandwiches and chicken tenders ever and their mac & cheese is so delicious. Customer service is always amazing. I absolutely love the Daves restaurant on Lankershim in North Hollywood. Always good vibes. Big Thanks to Elijah for being so kind and helpful!!

Okkkk! So after years I came back to this specific location and it's safe to say this Dave's is now up to par with the original. The bun is the perfect classic bun they have, cheese fries are delicious, and the medium was an actual medium type of heat where I was able to enjoy the meal and not die from its spice. My friend did get the extra hot tho and she was burning up so consider that this is true to its heat levels unlike some other Dave's in certain neighborhoods. Dave's Hot Chicken North Hollywood is awesome! Ariana is always so bubbly and welcoming every time I come and visit. She has made me a regular with the addition of the vegetarian entree of course (Cauliflower slider & bites). The food is always fresh and made to order! Make sure to get a side of DAVES sauce! I walked in here at 11:50 pm and the service was incredible they were so helpful and the food was the best chicken sandwich I ever had. Highly recommend going. Angel is the best worker they got!

The food here has SO much flavor! But what was just as good and surprising was the service. They treated me with such respect and friendliness. I felt like I was talking to friends. I honestly can't remember how to pronounce this guys name and not gonna attempt to spell it either but super friendly and helpful.
