TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

One of my favorite spots ! The chicken is always fresh and tender and the sauce that comes with it it's delicious!

My meal was on point today! Had a chicken sandwich made up the right way: Cole slaw, comeback sauce & honey on top, outstanding! Their new cauliflower bites were my favorite part, a perfect side dish, so good!

I tried it cold ( a friend brought it over after an appointment ) and it was still pretty good so I imagine if it's hot it would be fabulous lol.. standard battered deep fried chicken sandwich with pickles and such between buttery brioche like buns. Can't speak to service or decor but I imagine that they all look the same since it's a chain. Would like to try another time at the location when the food will actually be hot haha . No fault of restaurant though so looking forward to the next visit!

Ariana was the best server, was very polite. Best Dave's hot chicken I've ever been to. Chicken was the best, how it always is. I will for sure come to this spot again. If you see Ariana tell her I said hi and leave her a tip.
