TASTY! Their chicken tenders are juicy and tender. I was impressed. I haven't been disappointed yet. Every time I've gone the chicken has been juicy and tender. Sandwiches are good. Tenders are good. I REALLY like their fries. I have to remember to order and extra order of them next time. I've only gotten MILD or MEDIUM level spiciness; that's plenty for me. Sifting through the insane amount of hot chicken places can be daunting, ESPECIALLY in LA proper. I found that this place is a great starter if you're new to the hot chicken train! it's a pretty standard version, back to basics deal. I mean this not as an insult whatsoever! Very tasty! I was recently in LA and wanted to finally try Dave's Hot Chicken as I decided to chill in the hotel and eat in for dinner. I went with the chicken fingers and fries (the safest option for my gluten sensitivities). Both were delicious but nothing to write home about as I have had delicious fried chicken in both NYC where I currently live and in DC where I'm from. If you had asked me my thoughts on Dave's Hot Chicken in 2017, I would've told you it's the best budget-friendly, hangover-cure chicken sandwich you can get in LA. Within five years, they've managed to lose their top status with the emergence of many chicken sandwich shops in the area. I love Dave's -- I was at the original pop up way back when in like 2018. Back then, the spice level was way higher -- a medium was enough to make me sweat. I didn't mind so much that the spice level seemed to have normalised. But since becoming a relatively prolific chain, I've noticed inconsistent quality and flavour between different stores. What can you say Dave's hot chicken doesn't hold back on flavor heat and condiments... I always received great customer service at this location used to be one of my go to's forgetting that Nashville hot style chicken sandwich and chicken tenders... The family likes the slah which I can do without but the crispiness of their chicken tenders I love dearly... If you're placing an order or dining in or just picking up parking can be a little tough politicians everything will be alright...
