Don't be scared. Get extra hot. These little sandwiches are fantastic. The hotter they are the bigger the flavor. I feel sorry for yall who can't handle that big heat hahaha.
Delicious! Chef's kiss! Who knew a piece of chicken could taste so good with toast alone. The chicken alone is really flavorful and satisfying, let's not mention the sauce! I have to be in a particular mood to eat it, but I'm always very satisfied when I do!

Upon arrival, the line was out the door while it was 9:00 PM on a weekday. Was it worth the wait? Only if you order their food online, because they were (maybe) understaffed with an immense amount of orders. They were apologetic to everyone that received their order, which I don't blame them at all. Dave's is always hyped/recommended. I come here all the time and I'm never disappointed ! Food is delicious and I never wait long ! Definitely try the Dave's sauce with anything !
There's your standard chicken shop, and then there's Dave's Hot Chicken. It's completely on another level in quality, customer service and the customer experience! The chicken is delicious, cooked perfectly with the right amount of juiciness and crunch. I'll definitely be back. I highly recommend.
My son told me about this place. I had just had a doctors appointment in Santee. I went in and I had the best experience. It was all halal. And they had enough time to explain the spice levels. I I personally do not enjoy spice. But the workers were very courteous and helped me choose a spice level. I went with light mild and it was not that spicy. It was seasoned perfectly and wasn't dry. Keep in mind it's not your traditional chicken joint, but these delicious chicken sandwiches and fries are mind blowing! I highly recommend this place.
