Dave's Hot Chicken is delicious! Came back last Thursday after a Padres game. Went with the 2 sandwich combo, medium heat. Medium is just enough heat to tingle your lips, but not hot enough to burn your mouth. The 2 sandwich combo is the way to go! The crunch on the batter is out of this world. I was wonderfully surprised at how delicious my chicken slider was :p . Good customer service , clean restaurant , yummy affordable food. Can't beat it with a stick!
This place is definitely a must try if you like chicken! I got the sliders and the recipe they use for the fried chicken, the coleslaw, and the sauce is very delicious. The portion sizes are generous. I ordered the #2 (2 sliders) to split with someone and it was a perfect amount of food. Will definitely be coming back!
I already absolutely loved this place because the food is so yummy, but the employees REALLY make the overall experience. Everyone is always so nice and Alma really made my night after I was having a really hard day. LOVE this place!
Dave's hot chicken is delicious. It's similar to Nashville hot chicken. The spicy levels are accurate. Trust!! The mild is really mild.... The hot is HOT!!! The chicken towards are huge. They are definitely not comparable in size to wings n things or Popeyes... triple the size. So when you order the 2 tender combined, it will absolutely be enough.
