Chicken is good, but doesn't stand out really from all the other chicken fast food places we have in the area. Good costumer service! I would come back to try out their hotter flavors. I got medium, but I think I could've handled the hot!

Me and friends decided to go here for lunch after a Saturday morning Trader Joe's run. For my first hot chicken experience it was cool! We went as soon as they opened (11 am) and were the 2nd patrons there. The cashier was super pleasant and was able to explain the menu and all they had to offer. I order the 2 fingers with fries (no salt) with medium heat. My friends ordered the one finger one slider combo and the other ordered 2 slider combo. The sliders were regular size buns! Lol. I ordered the "hot" chicken and Dave's did not disappoint. It was hot.. so hot that the taste of chicken was hard to discern. There are two more levels of heat above that, extra hot and reaper. Two tenders may not sound like much, but Dave's tenders are huge, definitely more meat that a four piece box at Cane's. Like a lot of Nashville Hot places, the chicken is drenched in spicy oil (which is good). But at Dave's they go wild with granulated hot and sweet seasonings on top of that. Solid hot chicken choice, although I am getting a bit tired of places that sell tenders only that does seem to be the trend. It'd be nice if they had a gluten-free version too, so I can take my girlfriend.

Of all the new Hot Chicken places that have arrived in Dallas, this one stands alone as the best tasting chicken of them all. The spice has a particular smoky kind of flavor which gives it a more satisfying taste than any of the competition. *THE* choice to start your hot chicken journey.
Loveee - will definitely be back. Great flavor, great service, food was good and came out quick! I think we got lucky, we went on a Wednesday evening around 6/7 and easily sat down! I had the medium spice level and could definitely go up to the next level! 10/10 recommend!
Hot is too hot lol. Medium is almost too hot and I couldn't face myself in a mirror if I'd had ordered medium. One "slider" is enough as it is actually the size of a regular Chick Fil A sammich. Yes, I said it, CFA. Imagine a CFA sammich with their kale salad and actual piece of spicy, non-pickle juice soaked chicken on a bun. Viola', you have Dave's Spicy Chicken. Hubby and I came in around 9 on Saturday night. Wasn't empty but wasn't full either. The menu is pretty limited but there isn't much you can do with chicken tenders. Food was prepared and served fast. We shared a hot slider combo. The flavor was really good and the chicken was juicy and the fact that there are two more levels that are spicer than this beyond me. 8/10 great experience.
3 stars for the effort (on food)! This place has a lot of potential, but the food is overrated. (only excessive dry seasoning on tenders, no flavor mac n cheese) Compared to other hot chicken places, I highly recommend RICKY's in Richardson over Dave's.
