I came here cause Torchy's was closed, this place was open till 11PM. They have a very small menu, basically tenders and sliders and sides. I got the #3, which is tenders and a slider with fries, for the both of us it was $27 total. The food came fast and it was a lot of food and very good, I've been to a couple places that do hot chicken tenders and this is my favorite so far, I'd go back if I were in the area.
Compared to the other new hot chicken places in dallas, Daves is better. The chicken is big wich is good but compared to the bread they serve it on its disproportioned. Maybe its to give off the appearance that youre getting alot of food for 12 bucks but really youre paying 6 dollars per tender. Its steep when especially when drinks are separate and typically youll need one with a heat level of hot or more. Because hot was really hot.

When it comes to hot chicken this place is the real deal . The food is delicious and the portions are huge . The price is reasonable. The menu is simple yet extremely well thought out . You can have 2 sliders or 1 slider and chicken tender . If you are like me and can't make up your mind order a # 3. It's the best of both world one slider and one chicken tender . USEFUL: I assumed Dave's was a hot chicken sandwich place so I was surprised to see it's actually nothing but CHICKEN FINGERS. They do have options that come with a bun (instead of white bread) but you don't have any choice when it comes to the chicken. So let's get to it. You pick the heat level from 0-5. We went with 1 (very mild) and 2 (mild) after getting absolutely mouth-wrecked at a different hot chicken place by overestimating our heat tolerance. love this place!! perfect comfort food and I always get the hot level sliders! the servers are so nice and crystal even recommended us to try putting honey in the sauce to make it more enjoyable!! overall really good chicken and flavor
Popeyes, chic fil a, raising canes? Naw give me Dave's hot chicken!!! I usually try a different place on my cheat day Saturdays but I've been there for two weeks in a row! They have some really good chicken with I think five different heat levels and even a plain one probably for the kiddos. So my husband and I ate too fast to take a picture. This place does hot chicken right! We both agree this place wins the chicken sandwiches wars. And hot really means hot! Thankfully they don't skimp on the A/C inside because you might sweat otherwise! The spices shine through, and I love that I can taste the cumin in the batter. First time visiting today and it was a great experience!! Very large portions, good flavor and friendly employees who take the time to fully explain the menu. The spice levels are on point. I had medium and my husband had hot. The hot as a spice to it but isn't inedible, super good! You can sub your sides for anything else on the menu. The 2 sliders are the size of 2 sandwiches! It was my first time at Dave's Hot Chicken and the staff was very welcoming. I ordered the 2 piece tender combo with spice level hot and it was amazing. The inside of Dave's was also very clean with cool art decor on their walls. My bf got the 1 piece tender and slider combo and his spice level was medium. We both enjoyed our meals. Would definitely come back again.
