TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I'm a Courier for Uber Eats and get orders from this place everyday so tonight I decided to see if the hype was justified. Let me just say, especially compared to Chic-Fil-A, this restaurant is worth your hard earned ducats. I got two sliders with cheese and fries. It was a very good meal! The pieces of chicken were monstrosities and the fries were real good. The level of spice I got was lite mild, and it was just right if you want just a small kick that won't kill ya. Chicken is great but they messed up the order. We hoped to try the Reaper but ended up with 3 milds . A bummer for sure at that price, but still good

The best food I have ever had I come here every week I've gained 20 lbs since they opened but that's on me
Check your order before you walk out! Bought 4 tender combos; got home to find one box had only about 4 fries, one box missing pickles, side of slaw was barely half full, only 4 dipping sauces for 8 pieces of chicken. Otherwise the chicken is really good and can be had as spicy as you can handle. As a chili-head, the extra hot was perfect.

Family declared them the best chicken sandwiches around...and they eat a lot of chicken sandwiches! We got no spice, lite spice and mild...just enough hot for those of us who like a little (but not too much spice) and mild enough for those who don't like the heat. This place has really delicious chicken. Get the honey and drizzle it on top. I had the meal with 2 sliders, which was a lot of food. I wish they offered a 1 slider meal option.
Decided to try this place out. Looks like a legit southern chicken place. Only 2 menu item options, sandwich (slider) or tender. Then you pick how hot you want it. They have 3 combos; 2 tenders, 2 sliders, or 1 of each and it comes with a side of fries but oddly the combo doesn't come with a drink, that's an additional cost. I ordered 1 of each. Santa Rosa has needed a shop like Dave's Hot Chicken for a while -- it's a great option when you want a more premium chicken sandwich that actually has good flavor.
