We wanted to give this place a try; it has the funny looking logo and looks like a hipster-styled spot for some chicken. My partner ordered the slider and the tender with light mild and I ordered the 2 sliders with cheese and the mild spice level. Order was given to us literally less than 1 minute after ordering so they are super fast. However, the food was kind of mehhh. Great quality chicken. I read online that the original owners trained at the French laundry which means that they use quality technique and ingredients. It definitely shows. I can't handle a lot Of Spicey food so I go with the mild spice which for me was perfect.
Friendly workers and amazing food, patio sitting is incredible. I order Dave's #2 Hot and it was absolutely divine, chicken cooked to perfection and crispy yummy hot fries
Chicken was awesome - sliders were great! Also loved the Mac & Cheese. Had just opened a few days before, but all was smooth - staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved the multiple heat levels so easy to select exactly the heat level we wanted on the chicken and were comfortable with. We will be going back soon!
I have ordered Dave's 6 times in the past month. Yes, i know it's a lot of food and i'll get fat asf butttttt ITS AMAZING AND IDC
So glad that Dave's is at this location, closer to our home. Dave's is among the best of the numerous hot chicken shops that have sprouted up. The flavor profile of the spices is well balanced (not just "hot"), and the chicken is juicy on the inside with a good crunch on the outside. The fries and mac and cheese are well done. Online ordering is easy to navigate.
I was in area last night and I went to try the newest location and it was great. My wife and I got the number 1 and the number 2. Spice level . Staff was so helpful, I asked for extra sauce snd I got it with out a problem. They friendly and welcoming.
