This was my first time ever having Dave's Hot Chicken. I was a little skeptical from the reviews for this location, but I'm glad I took a chance! The food is very good. My husband and I ordered the sliders, tenders with medium and spicy level, and Mac n cheese. Chicken was flavorful, not oily, and just the right spice level. First time and will not be my last. Dave's was absolutely phenomenal! The vibes were great. The food came out fast. The meal was filling but not overwhelming. The tender I got was mild and the burger was hot. It was perfect. I love the flavor and seasoning; I have never had fried chicken tenders like that before.

This place is GOOD! I loved my sandwich. The chicken to breading / seasoning ratio was spot-on. The acoustics in this place suck though, it was soo loud and the staff is fairly unpleasant for the most part. Just loud and visibly over it. Lol you can tell they don't want to be there. But that's fine as long as my food comes out hot and yummy. Wish there was an option to sit outside to escape the noise. Also, the Hot is HOT. The sliders are full sized sandwiches

Sliders were good , good spice on the hot ones . I was disappointed at how runny the mac n cheese was . It's like a fresh milkshake with cold fries . But overall I'd try it again .

It was good. Better leftover. I went for lunch and got something spicy. The chicken tenders were really big so a small order is cool.

It's nice to have a hot chicken option in Indy now! The chicken itself is high quality and tastes good, the hot level was pretty spicy and the mild was very flavorful. However, the sides were average at best. The Mac and cheese was creamy, but bland, and the fries weren't very good honestly, the dipping sauce helped a lot though. I would recommend a slider vs the tender 1.) because I ordered one of each and the chicken on the slider was much larger and 2.) the slider bun and coleslaw topping with the chicken was a great comb... read more

Loved coming to this place. Staff is nice and the food is good. The manager came and chatted with us to see how the food was.
