Best hot chicken I've ever eaten in US. The flavors are unique. The chickens are hot and juicy. The staff were friendly. The store was pretty roomy and decorated modern.

Went for the grand opening. Waited 30 minutes in line. Well worth the wait. The chicken was fresh and served to perfection. After ordering the food took ~ 5 minutes to come out. The "hot" flavor is actually hot but the flavor is booming. I'd order again, but keep some water near. On my slider I got "medium". Truly Chick-fil-A has nothing on this sandwich. Best chicken I've ever had. I am a huge hot chicken Junky & this place is by far #1 on my list. Great ownership & customer service given on a busy opening weekend!

I got to try it before the grand opening this Friday and all I can say is I'M HOOKED!!!I went with a medium spice level and it has a good kick to it! I tried Dave's for the first time in TX and loved it! The location on Mass Ave is perfect! Paid parking and street parking is available!

Hot freaking chicken! Went to the soft opening of Dave's hot chicken on Mass Ave and it was fantastic! We had the 2 piece Nashville hot chicken sliders in medium and extra hot spice and it was great. The chicken tenders were juicy, fresh, and giant! Crispiness wise, they were on point and the dry rubs tasty and not just hot. The fries were hot and delicious, the chicken sliders came with pickles, kale slaw, Dave's sauce, as well cheese. Food usually really good, sometimes you get some Dave's bites that are just breading...this is mostly so y'all can train the people doing carry out to add all of the items into the bag under special requests and maybe give a better handling than just throwing the bag on the counter top and making no eye contact. I ordered online and scheduled the time for pick up, I went there after 10 minutes after my pick up time to make sure my order should be ready, but no, I still wait another 20 minutes for my order! And there is only 1 table, employees just stand there talking to each other. Not coming back again.
