We drove from Fort Wayne, IN. to try Dave's Hot Chicken. My daughter found it on instagram. The strawberry shake was delicious. The Cole slaw was surprisingly good and the chicken was definitely worth the drive. Bring. Dave's Hot Chicken to Fort Wayne!

Well all I can say it's SO GOOD! Honestly the spicy is just perfect and the sandwich was so good. Bread was soft and chicken was juicy and well cooked. The fries were crispy and the Dave's sauce was a perfect partner to them. So glad we got here early as 11:30 hit they got very busy! The bathrooms are also VERY clean and nice. Would recommend this to anyone!

My friend who had recommended brought a group of us to try for a late night dinner. I was eager because I am a fan of HotBoys in the Fountain Square area and didn't think anyone could compete. The service was great and friendly. It was a late night on Sunday after a concert and it was not very busy. It was very overpriced. What I know I can get at my favorite place I got here for 10X more. C'mon Dave's, I know good help is hard to find nowadays. Love the food but asked for Mac instead of fries and got neither, and ordered 1 medium and one hot, and both are hot. Also, I have received it correctly in the past but there's no indicator as to which is which - there are stickers but they're on the lid of the container not even placed as to suggest which one is below.

Best friend chicken sandwich in Indy (and trust me we've tried most of them)! Easy to order online or in store. Space for seating inside, limited menu which I always like because that means what you get is going to be fabulous. Pretty good! The textures were on point including the slaw and I really enjoyed thee fries and their seasoning. I also like how you get two sandwiches in one meal. The "hot" had a decently sharp heat to it but besides that I didn't get much flavor in the sandwich, might try medium or the tenders next time. The place is fast paced and always busy and loud, and the artwork on the walls is really cool. I also love that they are halal certified!

I had heard so many things about this place and was excited to try it at the only Indy location. This meal was more than enough for two of us, both of us took 1 home for later (it was also almost $40 for both). The sliders were huge. I stopped by Dave's last night pretty late, and it did not disappoint. In fact, I scarfed it down so quickly that I did not get photos, sorry!! The interior of this restaurant is really neat; lots of graffiti art, colorful, spacious. It was clear to me that they were frying every piece of chicken to order, so everything was very very fresh. Ok ..much respect to Dave's Hot chicken! I was skeptical but they proved m wrong! So the only chicken they serve are strips. They have 7 levels from zero seasoning ( but whyyy) to reaper. I settled with hot. Hot was good. Spicy without being overwhelming. This is not Thai hot...or African hot..you won't be sweating but it's enjoyable.
