Hot chicken is on the top of my list of favorite foods, so when Dave's Hot Chicken opened I knew I had to check them out. Overall, the food was good and the amount of time it took to receive our order was very fast. As a lover of hot food, I ordered the 'medium' spice level and will be back soon to try one of the hotter levels as I felt this wasn't as spicy as expected but still had a good flavor. I love a good Hot Chicken Sandwich and I know they are the next best thing in Indy. The sandwich was really yummy! The perfect amount of spice but it took us about 15 minutes to get our To-Go order on a pretty light Sunday afternoon. The menu also seemed slightly overpriced. Worth it?? It's totally worth the try.

Came in on a Friday night to check out the new place. As a vegetarian, there is nothing here for you (except maybe Mac and Cheese and Kale Slaw). However, I really enjoyed watching my partner eat the "Reaper" chicken tender slider. We love, love, love spicy food at our hourse and I can let you know that this is indeed spicy--over a million scoville. Muy picante! I am in love with this chicken. Thankfully, I live within walking distance and get to go often! I usually order a combination of sides: chicken tender, fries, and Mac n cheese. The portions are pretty big so three sides fills me up. I've always ordered ahead and my food is always ready on time and the staff are friendly.

I love some hot chicken, so when I saw there was a new spot on Mass Ave, I had to go. The place is decent sized. You order at the counter and they call your number when the food is ready. They have a few cans of beers, no booze. We opted for 2 tenders and 1 slider. I appreciated we could get each item a different heat level at no extra charge. We opted for mild, medium, and hot. I went here for the first time 2 days ago and I throughly enjoy my experience. As a fast food place, it was just that. I waited less than 3 minutes for my food and I was not disappointed with what I was served. D Woods was an exceptional cashier/server. All around great service and great food! The hot is... HOT lol

Delicious huge portion hot chicken!!! Cashier Kerica was awesome! Super friendly, asked if we had questions about the menu. She was stoked and surprised we ordered the reaper sauce, you had to sign a waiver! The fry sauce was delicious. I am FULL!!! The restroom was oh so clean, the dining room was clean and plenty of seating available! Highly recommend mass ave location and if your in broad ripple they open there August 19!!
