I originally tried Dave's when they started expanding around the Los Angeles area and was excited to see one open up near me in Michigan. I think they have solid spicy chicken, and the sauce is good too. I usually go with one of their combo meals to get a good mix of sides and chicken. The fries are solid, and I like how they include lots of pickles as a neutralizer. My family and I have random dinner dates. I was hosting it at my house, I grabs some beers and my brother brought Dave's over for all of us to enjoy. I've passed this place several times but never stopped. I used to be a savvy's girl. Until I tried this place and boy oh boy this chicken is amazing!!!!! I would definitely recommend trying them and getting extra. I would have taken pictures but the food don't last that long!

Today was my first time trying DHC. It was a great experience. The food was fresh and the chicken was juicy and crunchy. The fries were hot as well. We had no complaints about the foot at all. Only 2 small remarks I have which do not bring the experience down are.. 1. I wish they had ranch dressing. 2. It was a little cold inside the place. Other than that it's a 10/10 and would absolutely come again.

Unlike many other reviewers I had not heard the hype. Despite being a USC alum, I never heard of Dave's Hot Chicken in LA, but saw that this location was open during a stop at Carrabba's a few weeks earlier. My mom and I finally gave it a try and after waiting in a 20 minute line to order I can honestly say it wasn't all that. Not worth the hype imo... I'd personally rather reach for ChikfilA... I don't like the sugar on their battered fried chicken! The spice wasn't even that hot either. Also, it was expensive for the portions.

This was the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. I went to try the red velvet waffle and chicken last week and the Redford location is closed? . Well if you live close enough to one of their locations to go...Nashville chicken sandwich is basically perfect..catfish sandwich was also amazing. That red velvet waffle is probably amazing too!!

It basically only has one product, the chicken tenders, but those are really good tenders. I love spicy food a lot so 'hot' and ' extra hot' are the best two flavors for me. Tried ' reaper' once, it was too much for me.

I have to give the Sliders the big salute. This was so delish. I really enjoyed the kale coleslaw on this with the huge pickles. Now the heat levels are totally on you, but this complimented the lite mild flavor. BIG and so flavorful.

We ordered carry out for three and our food was done. Our orders were mislabeled so the spicy and mild chickens were mixed up - a bit of a shocker to the person who ordered the mild chicken! The chicken is generally good (with the breading being excellent) and the spiciness was incendiary. The kale slaw was mild and tasted fine but could have been a bit more flavorful to complement the chicken. I may order here again but am not terribly enthused about it.
