TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

food here is amazing and very crispy. The service is also amazing but they could be a little faster with the waiting time. If you order ahead it is faster but still takes some time. Need more employees. Have amazing fries but lately they don't taste the same. They sonr put enough of the spices on the fries as they used to. I want old dave's fries back now.

My husband decided to eat hear on a Sat afternoon after an event nearby. I'd been talking about it since it opened because he loves spicy chicken sandwiches. The atmosphere was kind of industrial, casual with spray painted Dave's hot screaming chicken and graphiti muruals. Food was a decent value for the portion and quality. They're using good deli pickles which I love. I ate my husband's and my kids. I ordered a slider and tender combo lite mild so I could share with my kid. I got a hot chicken sandwich with fries (they forgot the fries but it's always busy so I understand) However, the sandwich had so much flavor! Their signature sauce. I need a personal bottle. 9.5/10 Bravo Dave bravo (I was offering a free code for my last review but didn't use it, this review isn't biased )
