TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Damn I know this is a chain but they do such an amazing and efficient job at their food. I got the #3 medium. I would say it's a small notch below a chic fill a spicy chicken sandwich. Slider was delicious, the kale slaw has enough vinegar to balance out the crispy chicken in the sandwich. Tender was also awesome. I think it was thigh meat which to me is a bonus point. I tried this place today, it's grand opening day. The inside is very big, bright, and an entire vibe. It's inside an old theater so it gives a new and old feeling. There was a line when I got there, but it went by pretty fast. The service was great and they got my order right. I ordered Dave # 3, lite mild and it was really good. Checked this place out on opening day. My friend who lived in LA recommended this place as one of his favorites. It lived up to hype. It was very lively inside and are welcoming. Amazing addition to the DC restaurant scene. Simple menu featuring fresh and delicious chicken slider sandwiches and tenders. Sliders delivered on tasty rolls with kale-slaw, pickles and the flavorful Dave's sauce. Creamy Mac 'n cheese, crispy fries (with spice and/or cheese) and mind-blowing shakes round out the offerings.
