TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

This place is great! Seriously!! You walk in and right away you notice it's clean, the staff is super friendly and more than helpful. G is the man too!! Great guy! Dave's is lucky to have someone like him upfront taking care of business and the customers! You order your food and hardly any wait. I got the reaper tenders platter so i had to sign the waiver. It was on point! Good flavor and decent heat. A must try. You pepper heads out there won't be disappointed. 🔥Jack Reaper🔥
The hot chicken craze was an enigma to me but I totally get it now. I really love this place. We went once to check it out and now it’s something we always want and keep coming back. I always get the mild chicken and the flavor is unmatched. The sauce they give is you amazing too! I put it on all the things. The staff is super nice too and that’s surprising for a fast food place. Our first time the cashier was being very helpful. Now we’re pros. I literally tell everyone to check this place out.
Bri always is working Friday or Saturday when me and my girlfriend come in. We look forward to seeing her, she always welcomes us in with a smile and conversation! Our order is always right and never disappoints. Dave’s is our spot!
The cauliflower is absolutely insanely delicious!! Drool worthy. The fries are really good and Dave’s sauce is way better than Cane’s in my opinion. Plus, the staff were all super sweet. The place is nice and clean….I’ll definitely be back.
I went here right after church. I placed my order inside, (not a type of place that’s drive thru) and was handed a pager to alert me when my food was ready. The menu wasn’t vast, so I did not experience decision fatigue. I ordered the mild chicken sandwich, coleslaw, and Mac and cheese. The Mac wasn’t that great, I guess it difficult to make great Mac at a fast food joint. The coleslaw was top notch. It was actually great.
