TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Stopped by this place as I'm driving through Fargo. Large parking lot and easy to get to from the interstate. I got there just as it opened so service was quick and efficient. Food came out hot and flavorful. You can choose your level of spice so it's a great place for variety. The chicken sandwiches and tenders here are crisp and moist all at the same time. Fries came out hot and crispy. Overall the combo was filling. I'll be back whenever I'm in the area.
I'll post another review once I go again, but during my first visit I accidentally chose non-spicy chicken, and I found myself waiting a while because their Now Serving screen was inaccurate. Eventually a kind employee noticed I had been there a while, asked if I needed assistance, and when I told him I was waiting for my pick-up order, he got it ready for me ASAP. Kudos to that guy! The chicken was okay, kinda bland because, again, I chose non-spicy by accident. The restaurant itself was clean and the decoration was pretty... read more
The food was Great tasting with a very simple menu. The workers were friendly and the art has a cool aesthetic.
It's actually pretty good. I got the medium spice sliders and they had a nice heat to them. My husband ordered the hot slider and he was dying. It was spicy. The line was long but they have the line moving pretty fast. We'll be visiting there again
Improving needed on everything. What a dirty, out of everything, full of flies, less than mediocre place. Avoid this place.
This place was very crowded, and it got my hopes high. I ordered the #3 combo, and the lady at the counter was very friendly. I got it "hot" and it was. But the chicken was pretty bad. The breading was falling apart and the fries weren't seasoned very much. Their Powerade slushy was great, but the chicken wasn't. The chicken itself wasn't terrible, but it didn't help the meal much. I wouldn't go there again.
It should be called Dave's cold chicken with a little bit of spice. Apparently people in the kitchen can't count to 10 properly so if you order the 10 piece who knows how many pieces you'll actually get it just won't be 10. Took a long time to get the food considering it was barely room temperature. Fake iced tea. I've had better chicken at Culver's, KFC, Slims chicken, raising Cane's and Chick-fil-A.
Food looks good, tastes good, but 20 minutes to get it? And there were two people in here...pretty amazing how slow it was.
I liked the food but the menu was not really explained to us on how much food you get and it a lot. They give you a buzzer and you go up pick your food at the counter but it took a long time because of online orders. I also don't like that they ask you for a tip and do nothing but take your order. It is not a cheap place to eat
