My third time trying Dave’s Hot Chicken and it was better than the previous times. This time around I really enjoyed it because I decided to try mild instead of something too spicy which I did the first time.

Staff is always so welcoming! Robert helped me today he’s awesome, so patient and helpful! Would come again no doubt !!

The chicken is crispy & juicy, the Dave’s sauce is a mayo ketchup type sauce. Very meal includes the same chicken tenders just repurposed. Overall it’s good, but nothing special. The staff were friendly & helpful. The decor is amazing, custom artwork throughout.

I feel extremely disappointed with my experience today that led me to write this review. I was excited to try a restaurant that finally made its way to NY. I ordered a #3 and it is listed at $13.99 but I was told I had to pay $19.59. I asked how is that possible and I was told it’s the tax. I explain that doesn’t make sense. I inquired about the listed price (view pic) and asked why would the tax be nearly $6. I was told again that it’s not visible on my side, but that is my total. Was in the area for work ao I decided to try this slot. The chicken was amazing as you would hope for from a chicken spot. The sauce that comes with the meal is on point. The real surprise star were the fries. I'm not a fan of wavy fries, since most of the time they are not well done. These were the best wavy fries I ever had. Crunchy, seasoned, and soft on the inside. Highly recommend Dave's Hot Chicken.
