I was very hesitant to have cataract surgery with Dr. Weiser. A family member had a bad experience somewhere else and I did not get the warm fuzzies on my initial visit making me very uncertain about proceeding. While my initial encounter left me very frustrated and uncertain if I was making a good choice. He did come across as impatient at my initial visit. He is a caring, compassionate and very knowledgeable physician. He saved my eye sight.
I have seen Dr.Weisner several times over the past 15 years and since i have an unusual condition he recommended a specialist 10 year ago that saved my eye sight. I am again a patient of his to do cataract surgery. I can truly say I trust what he says and believe he will do the best that he can do to correct my vision. He is clear in his direction and always gives me alternatives and suggestions with a plan in mind. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs eye care.
Dr. Weiser seem to be a top Opthalmalogist and eye surgeon. I have seen him now for 2 1/2 yrs. and he removed a cataract from each eye and did a fine job. He is professional and patient friendly as well as his staff. I have an appointment this week to see him again. I feel you'd make a great choice if you choose him to care for your eyes.
Took my 78 year old mother for an eye exam for cataract surgery assessment. Dr. Weiser could not have been more rude to her. He cut her off when she was trying to express an issue she was having (he didn’t feel it worthy of acknowledging). If I could give him less than 1, I would. Do not use Dr. Weiser for cataract surgery, especially if you've had LASIK surgery. He does not know how to adjust his surgery for someone with LASIK.
