This is a generic dress store for those who don't want to spend half a teacher's salary on their dress. It's the Ross of wedding dress stores. Be prepared to fork over a good amount for tailoring if you aren't 5'11 but thats all off the rack places....

I went in with my MOH to shop for her dress. The consultant that was helping us acted as if she obviously had better things to do. She never stayed with us and was wandering around. It was 2 pm on a Tuesday, there was hardly any customers there! I was doing all the zipping and accessorizing myself. Thanks for the help, not. I asked for a sample of a certain color of fabric, knowing it would be a dollar. I really like the value you get at davids bridal! I found my first dress right after I got engaged for $400!! So excited, but about 2 months later I was browsing their website and found THE dream dress!! The girls at the paradise valley and scottsdale location was so good to me and let me exchange my old dress for the new one with no questions asked! They all had great customer service!

I went to Davids Bridal for their selection and what I thought would be a great deal... but I would NOT recommend this store. The staff is horrible to work with. First, the dress consultant misinformed me about their layaway policy. Second, the alterations lady tried to sell me undergarments I didn't need - I found out she gets credit for selling more stuff. Third, they won't take returns. Fourth, they sold me a slip with a rip and a broken zipper... By the time you finally get out the door, you will have a huge bill and a h... read more

When we first went to the Ahwatukee store our consultant was Sharon, who was wonderful, but no longer there. When my daughter went back to pick up the dress, it looked all wrong. She ordered a larger size, yet the smaller one in the store fit and looked better. She was in tears, and the girl who was "helping" her asked in a patronizing manner, "What?! You didn't lose the weight for your wedding?" Then she pretty much called her my daughter a liar when she told her the the smaller one in the store fit better than the new one ... read more

The location in Phoenix was great helping my far away bridesmaid. The one in Lubbock, TX however was a differnt story. I did finally find the dress of my dreams and it was perfect but man was it a task. The people were not helpful and they make you feel rushed. After trying on 3 dresses, they told me to come back when I had abetter idea of what I wanted. I knew exactly what I wanted but they brought me every dress I said I didn't want. Was not impressed nor happy with their service at all.
