I went to the Peoria David's Bridal and had a great experience. I ended up buying the 3rd dress I tried on, which was a suggesting by the bridal consultant. It was one of the "style preview" dresses which was perfect because it was unique and only had a limited number (you can't buy those dresses online either). I had a total budget of $500 so I knew I was more than likely going to have to go to David's but I am so happy that I was able to get a unique dress that was still in my budget. service and selection was great. only complaint is with alterations. too expensive and the seamstress could have been at least polite.
My overall experience with DB was okay. I ended up exchanging my wedding dress for a different one, and buying some hair accessories with the money i saved. Customer service is not the best here even when its not busy...
We bought my wedding dress, shoes, slip, bra, veil, headpiece, mother of the bride, 4 bridesmaids, 3 flower girls, and a bunch of accessories here! They did very well and were professional the whole way, except when they were busy on certain day, which you have to give it to them, they serve a ton of people! The gowns were all beautiful, but on almost all of them, we were worried about the quality of zippers. I found my dress, but my consultant was awful. She had no knowledge of the stock and kept bringing me dresses out of my budget.
My bridal gown and all my bridesmaids gowns were purchased through davids bridal. I also have purchased many bridesmaids dresses from here as well, Online and from a store. I have never had a problem with my bridesmaids dresses. I got my gown on sale, which saved me over 200$. I was very happy that the lady helping me wasn't trying to force me into dresses I didn't want to wear. I told her what I was looking at and she was very helpful. I picked out my gown, I was excited.
