First time in no help rude service. Made appt to come back the gal that helped was awesome except, my daughter is short and extremely large busted had difficulty getting stylist to understand large busts are not a sexy asset, no v neck, low cut neckline. First off, the consultant didn't seem to appreciate anyone looking for dresses for me to try on, she took that as her sole responsibility, which would have been great had she taken the time to get a feel for what I liked. I had some specific things I was looking for in my wedding dress, and some things I didn't want to see. It felt like she didn't listen when I mentioned, "I don't like v-necks", as she brought more v-necks. I have no problem with the staff at David's Bridal they are doing a great job. I do however have a problem with the Big Box mentality of David's Bridal. They are not about relationships or meeting needs they are about the up sell. We purchase a dress (not a clearance dress) and had done alternations only to be asked if we wanted to purchase a garment bag for $10.95. Otherwise it comes in a plastic bag. I walk in and the girl in the front says hi What are you here for? I was like a dress duh this is not a buffet. Is it? Anyway I traveled 45 min to go see dresses, and they would not attend to me cause I didn't have appointment. STUPID
I made an appointment at 11, my stylist was 15 minutes late. She then showed me where the dresses where, and left me to grab my own after that. And never came back to check on me, because they double booked and she'd rather help another bride.
