My sister and I went early for my bridal appointment and the woman helping me was late. She Came 15-20 mins after our 1:30 appointment and while I was passing time and looking at dresses, we saw an ant on one of the dresses and a few flies caught under some of the fabrics in a few dresses. Other than the helper being late and the bugs, it was fun. I did enjoy myself but those things kinda took away the full enjoyment.

I ordered my mother of the bride dress from David's Bridal online and received it within 4-5 days. It was beautiful but just a bit long for me (am only 5'3") so I called the local David's Bridal in Maple Grove. I explained that my daughter was getting married in 7 days and could they fit me in. The alterations department assured me they could and would make sure to do so and created an opening that very day. I picked up my hemmed dress 3 days later and it was perfect! I went for my wedding dress fitting yesterday, and I honestly did NOT think I would find anything the first time. I thought it would just give me an idea of what I liked, and that's it.. Boy, was I wrong! I was paired up with Christine, and she was AMAZING! She went the extra mile for me, and helped me so much! I came into David's Bridal very worried about finding a dress and enjoying the experience because I'm plus-sized and don't have good clothing experiences in any fitting room I've ever been in. But my consultant Darlene was very nice, attentive, and listened to what I was looking for. I gave her a list of dresses I want to try on, but the first one she brought wasn't on my list. We made an appointment and even though we were scheduled for 90 minutes, the fitting associate took her time and made sure we were satisfied with the variety of samples. She consulted with the manager and the seamstress to answer all our questions. Overall, this was a great experience.
